Hello & welcome!
My name is Melissa. I am a freelance cellist, educator, youth orchestra manager, supervisor, composer/arranger, singer, Hufflepuff, wife, Mama…I wear many musical hats to say the least. But that’s always been the case with me. I started out playing piano at age 3, singing in children’s choir at 8, cello at 9, theater in high school. You get the gist. I’ve always been musical, and I’m thrilled to be able to share my knowledge and love of music with my students and my community.
I work and teach from my home in Phoenixville, PA, and am excited to say that I am currently accepting new students into my private studio! Check out the Lessons page for more info.
And in other BIG news - Big Idea Committee has a brand new self-titled album out! take a listen and download on Bandcamp!
Thanks for visiting, and I hope to see you around town!
